Q  I don't have any equipment.  What kind of exercises can I do to get in shape at home?

A  You don't need any special equipment in order to get your body into shape.  Your body weight will do just fine!  One program that I use frequently with my clients is "Body Weight 30/30's".  This consists of a 2 to 3 minute warm-up (march in place) then 30 seconds of a body weight exercise such as push-ups, squats, etc., followed by 30 seconds of cardio such as marching in place.  Continue with this cycle for a total of 30 minutes followed by a 2 to 3 minute cool down and then stretching.

This program will give you a very good workout with no equipment needed!

If you wanted to pick up some exercise equipment but have little storage room, the one piece I feel would give you the most variety is resistance tubing.  You can pick these up at most department stores or sporting goods stores and most come with exercise descriptions.
